LATERAL LENS

“The simple process of focusing on things that are normally taken for granted is a powerful source of creativity”
— Edward De Bono

Lateral Lens brings together photographs made by young people who have taken part in a programme of workshops with eye4change.

By re/viewing their surroundings, while engaged in creative and cultural activity, these young photographers transcend their everyday experience and increase their awareness beyond the surface of things.

In the words of a young person taking part in the project, “I get to see things that I don’t quite see in normal life.”
